Transition Projects helps people experiencing homelessness transition into housing. With more than 56 years of experience providing shelter, housing, and supportive services for very low-income people, the agency is recognized for its work with Veterans, women, Black, Indigenous and People of Color, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, people who are disabled, and other highly vulnerable groups. Operating throughout the Portland metro area at 13 unique sites enables our 350 team members assist 10,000 people each year through programs designed to help people experiencing homelessness survive the streets, meet their needs, find housing, and retain their housing.
